Both of our Birthplace locations—at Truman Medical Centers Health Sciences District (TMC HSD) and TMC Lakewood—have a Children's Mercy connection. In The Birthplace at TMC HSD, that connection is literal—with high-risk pregnancy experts, moms and babies crossing the Bridge of Hope each day.
Truman Medical Centers/University Health also has the only American College of Surgeons Verified Level 1 Trauma Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Our trauma team sees it all and saves lives every day.
