PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT

NOTICE:

Superintendent of Lafourche Parish School Board is presently accepting applications for the following position:

PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT
Length of Employment: 240 days
Salary Range: $56,491 - $84,947 / Per Year
*Annual Salary is based on years of experience (0-40), with increases for advanced degrees.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a minimum of twenty-seven semester hours in accounting;
• Three years experience in payroll preferred;
• Demonstrate competence in assigned tasks and proficiency in the use of microcomputers and other business machines;
• Experience with MUNIS software preferred;
• Possess good communication and mathematical skills;
• Ability to exercise judgment in making decisions in accordance with policies and practices of the Business Department;
• Ability to prioritize goals and be self-motivated
