OFFICE OF ACCOUNTING, BUDGET, & COMPLIANCE

The successful applicant must possess a minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting, or Business-related field. A valid state driver's license. Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations and procedures and of accounting practices and procedures. High degree of written communication skills. High degree of public relations skills. Ability to work with Microsoft Applications. The operation of computers and other different office equipment. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, maintain confidentiality, perform accounting functions, direct, review, and evaluate activities of others, and to possess mathematics analytical ability. Read and understand complex material and apply this material to a wide variety of situations. All applicants must submit a Tribal employment application, a copy of relevant academic transcripts, & training certificates, and a copy of a current valid Drivers License. Any enrollment in a federally recognized Tribe must be submitted, if applicable. If you claimed Veterans preference, a copy of the DD214 form must be submitted. The successful applicant, if not currently employed by the Tribes, must complete & pass a pre-hire drug screen and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period.
