GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Admin Assistant - Clinical Operations, under the supervision of the Director of Finance is, responsible for maintaining participant medical records, coordination of all medical appointments, to include transportation when needed and performing a variety of clerical functions and duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer phone in Clinic Area, directing calls and taking messages when appropriate;
• Prepare Daily Clinic Schedule;
• Obtain progress notes, treatment summaries, and test results as needed for participant medical records;
• Prepare data for chart audits for local, state and federal guidelines;
• Maintenance of participants medical records, including opening and closing, and routine filing;
• Create and manage charts for incoming and ongoing participants;
• Assist team members in obtaining routine information for medical records;
• Coordination of all medical appointments to include transportation as needed;
• Track consults and referrals from beginning until completed;
• Schedules x-rays and diagnostic testing;
• Data entry into databases for tracking purposes; and
• General office work and all other reasonably related jobs as assigned.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• High school graduate with office skills to include computer and office machine use - Two years work experience as clerk/typist
• Proficient in MS Office, to include Word and Excel
• Medical records or health related background required
• Ability to independently multitask and reprioritize in a fast-paced clinic environment
