![]() Grove City, OH (Greater Columbus) Founded in 1980, Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is one of Ohio's largest and most innovative nonprofit organizations dedicated to ending hunger and improving community health. Serving a 20-county region across central and eastern Ohio, MOFC operates through a network of more than 600 partner agencies and programs, supported by 180 employees and countless volunteers. What began as a traditional food bank has evolved into a comprehensive collective addressing both immediate food insecurity and the underlying conditions that contribute to poor health and economic instability. Through its innovative five-asset model, including the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, Mid-Ohio Farm, Mid-Ohio Farmacy, Mid-Ohio Kitchen, and Mid-Ohio Market, MOFC integrates food access, health, nutrition, agriculture, and community engagement into a unified strategy for creating a hunger-free and healthier community. In fiscal year 2025 alone, the organization distributed nearly 80 million pounds of food, served more than 500,000 individuals, and provided enough food for more than 180,000 meals each day. MOFC is seeking its next President & CEO (CEO) at a transformative moment in its history. Following the retirement of a long-tenured and highly respected leader, the next CEO will have the opportunity to build upon an extraordinary legacy while shaping the future of one of the nation's most respected hunger-relief organizations. The organization is well-positioned for continued success yet faces an evolving landscape characterized by growing community need, changing government programs, economic uncertainty, and increasing demand for innovative solutions. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO serves as the organization's chief strategist, ambassador, and culture leader. This individual will provide visionary leadership, ensure financial sustainability, advance strategic priorities, foster innovation, and strengthen MOFC's role as a regional and national leader in hunger relief and community well-being. The CEO will serve as the public face of the organization, building strong relationships with donors, foundations, healthcare systems, elected officials, corporate partners, and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a highly relational, mission-driven, and strategic executive who combines bold vision with disciplined execution. The Board seeks an engaging leader with exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, emotional intelligence, and a demonstrated ability to lead complex organizations and inspire diverse stakeholders. Candidates may come from the nonprofit, healthcare, corporate, philanthropic, or human services sectors but must possess a deep commitment to mission-driven leadership, fundraising, partnership development, and organizational excellence. Above all, the next CEO will be a person of integrity, authenticity, humility, and compassion who believes deeply in MOFC's mission and understands that leadership is rooted in service, relationships, and impact. Mid-Ohio Food Collective offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $325,000 to $375,000, commensurate with experience.
