Live-In Caregiver

LIVE-IN CAREGIVER (Split Season: New York & Florida)

We are a married couple seeking a compassionate, dependable live-in caregiver to join our household on a seasonal basis. The position requires living with the clients for approximately six months in New York and six months in Florida each year. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling between residences, adapting to two different home environments, and providing dignified, person-centered care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, and transfers as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding as appropriate, and monitoring nutritional intake.
• Administer medication reminders and follow simple medication schedules; coordinate with medical professionals as required.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean living space.
• Offer meaningful companionship, emotional support, and engagement in daily activities and appointments.
• Travel with the clients between seasonal residences and support transitions between locations.
• Comfortable living with and caring for a large, friendly dog.

Qualifications

• Warm, patient, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred professional or personal. Relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, CPR/First Aid) are a plus.
• Able to adapt to two homes and manage the logistics of living in different states seasonally.
• Valid drivers license preferred; an excellent driving record is an asset.
