ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
The Alpena County Road Commission is seeking a qualified individual for a full- time Engineering Technician position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: performing ba- sic field surveying, assisting in the design and development of road construction plans, performing construction inspection and documentation, and performing various other technical engin- eering related work. Applicants are required to have an associate degree in concrete technology, civil technology, construction technology, surveying technology or construction management plus a minimum of at least two years' experience as an engineering technician. Knowledge in CADD software and drafting is preferable but not required. Experience in utilization of other computer software, and MDOT project engineering and documentation is a plus. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license. Excellent fringe benefit program.
