Yacht Club Manager/Steward

Seasonal club in Barnstable seeks manager or steward to oversee daily operations, a small program staff (including sailing, swimming, and tennis programs), light maintenance projects and minor cleaning, vendor relations, as well as member relations. The position is largely based outdoors. Candidates must be organized, self-directed, and customer-service oriented. Some on-the-water background, such as boating experience, waterfront operations, or in a marine industry, is strongly preferred; lifeguarding or sailing experience is also a plus. Experience as a club manager, a teacher, a youth coach, or in a similar role is valued. CPR and first-aid or willingness to obtain such certifications are required. Some weekends are required. Hours are flexible. The position can be part-time or full-time depending on qualifications. There is also a possibility for shoulder-season hours if desired. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
