Chief Financial/Accounting Officer

Chief Financial/Accounting Officer IRC is an established business (recently celebrated 100 years in business) involved in road construction, an Illinois River Terminal asphalt/fertilizer facility, fuel distributor, trucking and a industrial tarpaulin manufacturer. The CFO plans, organizes, implements and manages the financial/accounting system, establishes policies and procedures for maintaining an accurate/timely financial management system. Prepares the Annual forecast/budget and presents monthly operating/financial results to the Management Team. The position requires skilled and accurate analysis and explanations of financial reports which are critical to the proper performance of this position. The CFO provides the supervision of all accounting/office staff members, their workloads and flow. The CFO will follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in all activities and will be responsible for the proper training of the accounting staff to assure compliance throughout the record-keeping system.
