About the Role:
As an
Architectural Designer at Prefab Logic, you’ll start your career in a collaborative environment focused on production efficiency, constructability, and real-world application. You’ll support experienced architects and designers in the design and documentation of modular multifamily and hospitality projects, gaining hands-on experience while learning our production-focused approach to architectural coordination and delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and BIM Modeling: Develop and update architectural drawings and BIM models in Revit, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and adherence to company standards.
- Assist in Detailed Building Design: Support the design and documentation of floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Factory Coordination: Collaborate with the integration team to ensure architectural designs translate effectively into coordinated shop drawings and factory production.
- Support Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet company standards and comply with industry codes and local requirements.
- Participate in Learning & Development: Engage in continuous learning and contribute to improving our internal standards and documentation.
- Grow with the Team: Work alongside experienced architects and project leads to gain the knowledge and experience needed to advance into higher levels of responsibility.
This position is based in the office at our Nampa, Idaho, location to foster collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth.
Career Progression:
As you grow in this role, you’ll advance through a defined professional path within the architectural discipline:
- Architectural Designer (0–4 years): Support design and documentation under supervision; develop proficiency in Revit, coordination, and architectural detailing.
- Project Architect (4–10 years): Lead design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff. Architectural licensure is typically achieved before or early in this stage.
- Architect of Record (10+ years): Take ownership of design quality, compliance, and technical leadership for assigned projects. Advancement to this level is based on demonstrated capability, judgment, and readiness to assume greater responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) or Master of Architecture (M Arch) from a NAAB-accredited university. An associate degree in Drafting Technology or a comparable technical degree will be considered for candidates with strong relevant experience.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of building design experience. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam.
- Code Knowledge: Basic understanding of applicable building codes and accessibility standards, including the International Building Code (IBC), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and relevant energy and fire protection codes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification: Architectural Experience Program (AXP) enrollment or actively pursuing.
- Building Design: Experience with or interest in building design.
- Applied Architecture: Experience with or exposure to translating design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.

Compensation:
$60,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
