What is the Role: Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, The Dean of Students (DOS) is responsible for safeguarding the welfare, protecting the rights, upholding the community standards, and maintaining a supportive quality of life for the student body. This role plays a central part in cultivating a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus environment by leading student conduct efforts, coordinating crisis responses, and managing key student support operations. The Dean of Students acts as a vital bridge between students and university support services, upholding community standards while advocating for student success and well-being.
