QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER Provides professional metallurgical quality control engineering services and technical support involving technical quality, in-process quality, and customer service for all areas of stainless steel production. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science is required. Five years of experience as a Materials Engineer or Technical Customer Service Engineer is required. Proficiency in providing quality control monitoring and tracking services related to the production of stainless steel as shown by five years of experience in this area. Proficiency in identifying and leading continuous improvement projects related to the production of stainless steel as shown by five years of experience in this area. Proficiency in leading corrective and preventative action projects for quality deviations related to the production of stainless steel as shown by five years of experience in this area. Proficiency in providing technical assistance and support through the use of metallurgical laboratory equipment and facilities for the production of stainless steel as shown by five years of experience in this area.
