Pay Grade: 16 JOB SUMMARY: The Applications Administrator performs specialized professional and technical analysis duties such as software specifications development and software integration or configuration of enterprise class software systems. Performs other duties as requested by Senior Management QUALIFICATIONS: The Applications Administrator must have an understanding of relational databases, System Developmental Life Cycle methodologies and familiarity with project management. Must have experience applying the position specific functions in the applicable enterprise resource software system. The positions requires a comprehensive and practical knowledge of a technical field with use of analytical judgment and decision-making abilities appropriate to the work environment. The ability to manage the application of current and evolving information technology to the workload is also required. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrate strong motivational, time management, problem-solving and organizational skills as well as skills in building relationships with stakeholders. Ability to set priorities and present and speak publicly. Ability to be detail-oriented. Ability to work independently under general supervision. Ability to exercise independent judgement and to keep information confidential. Ability to organize complex materials and manage multiple projects. Ability to take initiative in self-training. Ability to gather, interpret, analyze, evaluate and present a variety of data, solve problems and present alternatives. Business intelligence, data analysis and report writing skills are required. COMPUTER SKILLS: Demonstrated proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office software and office systems hardware. Ability to use Oracle or SQL, information systems design and the systems development life cycle. CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and create positive connections with customers. Establish and meet goals to increase efficiency improving customer service. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor¿s degree in Information Technology or related field. Three (3) to five (5) years¿ experience in application support, development or applications administration. Two years¿ experience in database management systems. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in maintaining, configuring and/or supporting a major enterprise class software system. Preferred experience managing and supporting multiple applications in a multi-user environment. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONS: N/A LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common business journals and financial reports. Ability to respond to inquiries. Bilingual a plus. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with significant mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to prepare time and cost estimates. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to maintain a level and appropriate business demeanor.
