Position Summary: The School of Health Sciences is currently seeking applications for an Assistant Professor position. This is a full-time, on campus, nine-month, tenure-track position within the Health Care Management and/or Health Informatics and/or Health Administration programs. There is an anticipated start date of August 11, 2026. This position is represented by the SIU Faculty Association, IEA-NEA. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. Examples of Duties: Providing classroom instruction in multiple delivery formats as assigned including on-campus lecture (day, evening, and/or weekend) and online (traditional and accelerated); holding student engagement hours; participating and completing course/program assessment activities; providing student mentorship and academic advisement; assisting in recruitment and retention activities of students to the School of Health Sciences, performing service activities for the profession, university, and community; assisting in the accreditation/certification process; engaging in scholarly research and producing creative activities consistent with the School of Health Sciences' expectations; completing other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Health Sciences.
