The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Human Resources Analyst I/II. Under general supervision, the incumbent performs a broad range of complex and professional analytical duties in support of a centralized human resources, organizational services and risk management office.

Education and Experience: Human Resources Analyst I
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major coursework in human resources, public or business administration, industrial relations, economics, or a related field, and one (1) year of human resources experience. Relevant analytical experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Preferred: In addition to the minimum qualifications, experience in human resources administration that includes recruitment, benefits, classification, compensation, and/or interpreting human resources policies; or possession of a valid SPHR/PHR certification.
Human Resources Analyst II
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major coursework in human resources, public or business administration, industrial relations, economics, or a related field, and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience, including one (1) year equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst I. Relevant human resources analytical experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Preferred: In addition to the minimum qualifications, possession of a valid SPHR/PHR certification and/or an advanced degree in a related field, along with additional years of progressively responsible human resources experience in a public or private sector HR department. Knowledge of risk management, cost analysis, and/or employee safety, or experience in a public agency setting is desirable.
Salary/Compensation: $5,528 - $6,718 per month
