Position Title: Job Category: Employment Type: Job Profile: Job Duties: The Department of Kinesiology, Health, Food and Nutritional Sciences (KHFNS) at the University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Dietetics. This is a 9-month tenure track position commencing in August, 2026. We are seeking a team member who has interest in advancing student learning in the area of nutrition and dietetics and in alignment with UW-Stout's polytechnic tenets of applied learning and research, business and industry partnerships, and career focused education. Key Job Responsibilities: Department: The University of Wisconsin-Stout's KHFNS Department is responsible for administering the ACEND accredited B.S degree in Dietetics; B.S degree in Food Science and Technology; and B.S degree in Health, Wellness, and Fitness; master's (M.S.) degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (online); master's (M.S) degree in Food Science and Technology; and an ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship program with 9 and 15 month options. Beginning fall 2028, the department will be housed in a newly-renovated building with state-of-the art classrooms and laboratories, including nutritional assessment and body composition analysis labs, teaching kitchen, commercial kitchen, and various food science laboratories.
