Director Interprofessional Education

The College of Health & Human Services at Western Michigan University seeks to fill the director interprofessional education position. Posting #S1329P.

This position leads and coordinates interprofessional education initiatives across academic units and University auxiliary health services.

Collaborates with faculty, staff, administrators, and clinical partners to promote interdisciplinary learning and team-based care preparation in diverse health and human service environments.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
• Five years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in academic, clinical or healthcare education setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of interprofessional education principles, practices and accreditation standards.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary initiatives or projects.
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-function disciplines.
• Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to travel.

Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package.
