Primary Responsibilities

Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns of varying complexities

• Learn the intricacies of physician-owned medical/dental service businesses
• Develop proprietary reporting for each client based on various compensation models
• Manage client relationships by training and overseeing all aspects of accounting process; can include basics such as expense categorization all the way up to high-level tax concepts
• Train client staff, and identify processes that can be improved
• Collaborate with other staff providing your expertise in experienced tax matters
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end tax estimates
• Draft response letter to IRS and state notices when needed

Experience, Qualifications, & Skills

Required

• CPA or EA license
• Accounting experience (General Ledger work, financial statement preparation, etc)
• Minimum of two years of tax preparation experience

Desired

• Microsoft Office, Intuit Quick Books, Thompson-Reuters CS Suite software, Adobe

Starting Compensation Range (based on experience and credentials)

$70,000 - $95,000+
