JOB SUMMARY: The Fare Revenue Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the revenue service function of Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC). The position is responsible for managing the full range of functions of fare revenue collection including counting, processing, and reporting of fares collected through fareboxes, ticket sales to internal and external sales outlets, as well as online purchases. The Fare Revenue Supervisor is also responsible for full oversight of all fare media inventory. Pay Range: $42,848 - $53,560 (Minimum to Maximum) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Position Specific:

Perform other duties as requested by Senior Management QUALIFICATIONS: The Fare Revenue Supervisor requires experience in monitoring a fare media or fare collection program for a large corporation. Knowledge of accounting and inventory principles, with proficient math skills required. Knowledge of fraud and theft control techniques is necessary. The ability to manage the application of current and evolving information technology to the workload is also required. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrate strong motivational, time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to set priorities and present and speak publicly.Ability to be detail-oriented. Ability to work independently under general supervision. Ability to exercise independent judgement and to keep information confidential. Ability to organize complex materials and manage multiple projects. Skills in building relationships with stakeholders. COMPUTER SKILLS: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software products specifically Excel, Power Point, and Word. CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and create positive connections with customers. Ability to meet goals to increase efficiency and improve customer service. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in Business or related field. Three (3) five (5) years of progressive experience in revenue handling operations with accounting and cash handling experience. One (1) year of experience supervising staff. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid driver's license LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common business journals, financial reports, and light legal documents. Ability to respond to inquiries. Ability to produce written and/or oral reports and to create and present information. Ability to prepare and analyze complex reports, financial statements, and various budgetary information. Bilingual is a plus. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with significant mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with accounting and inventory principles, with proficiency in mathematical skills. Must possess a basic understanding of schedules and timetables. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to maintain a level and appropriate business demeanor.
