MAIL CLERK Central Missouri Newspapers, Inc. (CMNI), is seeking a Mail Clerk to join our fast-paced and dynamic commercial print production team. JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Mail Clerk supports mailing operations for newspaper distribution and commercial print projects. This position is responsible for preparing and processing printed materials for mailing using industry-standard software, operating mailing equipment, ensuring compliance with USPS regulations, and assisting in shipping and receiving duties. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with mailing software, a strong understanding of postal regulations, and a high level of attention to detail. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Prepares and processes printed materials for mailing using industry-standard software Ensures all materials are labeled, bundled, and metered according to USPS regulations Coordinates with production staff to meet tight deadlines and delivery schedules Maintains accurate mailing logs and documentation Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mailing equipment May assists with shipping and receiving duties as needed Performs other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience using BCC Mail Manager or similar mailing software – REQUIRED Strong understanding of USPS regulations, postal sorting, and addressing standards Familiarity with commercial printing processes is a plus Basic computer literacy and comfort working with data files (CSV, Excel, etc.) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent attention to detail and time management This is a full-time position and is eligible for benefits.
