WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 2 years of electric utility or construction related experience and/or 2-year college degree preferred. Experience or training in residential or commercial construction practices preferred. Fundamental knowledge of utility engineering design, construction practices and basic electrical principles. Knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and electric system maps. Knowledgeable in the use of trigonometry and algebraic calculations. Familiarity with personal property rights, right-of-way and easements. Proficient in working with the Utility’s information systems including Customer Information, Work Management, and GIS as well as Auto CAD and the MS Office suite. Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and must be customer service focused, creative, flexible, and team-oriented. Significant interaction with customers is required. Ability to spend a significant portion of the work day visiting outdoor construction sites in all weather conditions. Employees will also receive eight hours of vacation leave and sick leave every month and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. SALARY:Clark Public Utilities’ salary ranges are market based and established annually. With full competency in the role and satisfactory performance the target is midpoint within the established range.
