This role oversees staff and student employees, ensuring efficient and timely operations through effective management and strategic workflow optimization. A key part of this position is to drive innovation and best practices by leveraging data analysis and collaborating with peers. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a minimum of three years in a supervisory role who excels at mentoring staff and driving innovation. They possess a strong background in resource sharing, including expertise with platforms like IL Liad and Worldshare, and a proven ability to optimize workflows through data analysis to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials. Workplace Requirements On-campus position: This position is exclusively on-site, necessitating all duties to be performed in person at Fondren Library. Working hours will be 8: 30 a.m.-5: 00 p.m. Per Rice policy 440, work arrangements may be subject to change. Hiring Range This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, and the proposed salary range is $60,813 to $69,900 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime. Essential Functions
