The Digital Online Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support across our eCommerce, web development, and social media platforms. Specifically ad placement and media management with Google and Facebook as well as Shopify website builder. This role works closely with customers, internal teams, and partner organizations via phone, email, and other communication channels to ensure the successful launch and ongoing performance of clients’ online marketing efforts. You will proactively identify, prevent, and resolve issues in a timely and creative manner, keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
-
Place and manage customer ads on Facebook and Google
-
Build and launch new Shopify websites; success is measured by launching sites within 2 weeks of receiving customer materials

Maintain regular communication with customers to promote new campaigns or website updates

Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments (Technical, Accounting, Sales, Creative) and supplier partners to ensure seamless issue resolution

Provide platform training via Zoom or phone, empowering customers to confidently manage their websites

Translate complex technical terms into clear, customer-friendly language

Recommend and implement proactive solutions to potential or existing issues

Deliver daily status updates on open tasks and projects to the Director of Digital Services

Serve as a subject matter expert on company platforms, policies, terms, and procedures

Foster strong customer relationships and provide ongoing support to enhance their online presence

Assist customers with tools such as email marketing platforms, shopping carts, and other digital applications
Additional Duties

Participate in daily check-ins with the Director of Digital Services to review tasks, updates, and process improvements

Stay current with best practices in web development, digital marketing, and social media through self-learning and professional development

Embrace new technologies and provide feedback for improving internal tools and customer experience
Requirements

Proven experience placing Google and Facebook ads, and understanding of SEO best practices

Proficiency with the Shopify platform

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments

Strong organizational and time-management skills; must be self-motivated and deadline-driven

Exceptional telephone and video conferencing etiquette (Zoom, etc.)

Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy
