Systems Engineer

SENIOR SOFTWARE (SW) ENGINEER: St. Jude Medical, An Abbott Labs Co., in Sylmar, CA seeks qualified Sr. SW Engineer. Understand product requirements & use cases, & work on verification apps for Cardiac Rhythm Mgmt (CRM) remote care. Bachelor's or foreign equiv degree in SW Engineering, Comp Sci, Info Systems, or in rltd fld of study w/ min. 3 yrs of pro exp in: (i) using Visual Studio for SW test development w/ C# programming language; (ii) developing SW w/in Windows OS; (iii) working w/ SW deployed in Linux OS; (iv) test script source code mgmt using tools, incl. Accu Rev; (v) requirement mgmt system using tools, incl. IBM DOORs; (vi) defect tracking system using tools, incl. Clear Quest; (vii) requirements analysis, development, & testing w/in Waterfall & Agile SDLC methodologies; (viii) applying med device regulation knowledge in areas of V&V processes per FDA 21 CFR 820 & ISO 13485; (x) applying knowledge of testing clinical workflows & firmware interactions w/ in-clinic software rltd to implantable Class III & Class II med devices s/a ICDs, Pacemakers & Heart Monitors; (xi) writing automated & manual tests for all levels of testing, incl. Sanity, Functional, Integration, Regression, & Ad-hoc testing; & (xii) mentoring junior software engineers & contractors. Will accept education equiv eval prepped by qualified eval service or in accordance w/ 8 CFR 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(D). Employer will accept any suitable combo of education, training, or exp.
