Maintenance, Grounds, and Custodial Position
Description:
Charlevoix Public Schools is seeking a dependable and skilled individual to join our team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- General maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and building systems (electrical, plumbing Carpentry, roofing, small motors, HVAC, pneumatic controls)
- Facility upkeep, including custodial duties as needed and cleaning of athletic facilities
- Groundskeeping: landscaping, turf care, mowing, snow removal, and field preparation for athletic events Maintenance of site features such as fencing, bleachers, and other structures
- Additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Director
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, roofing, HVAC, etc.) and grounds maintenance (turf care, field lining/preparation)
- Ability to collaborate, follow directions, and assist team members as needed
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Willingness to attend training to build knowledge and stay current in key areas.

Start Date:
Fall 2025
Hours:
40 hours per week (7: 00 am to 3: 00 pm)
Salary:
Per master agreement.
