Baylor University seeks to fill the Danny and Lenn Prince Chair in Social Workto start August 2026.

Thisendowedfacultypositionisattherankof Associate Professoror Professorwithinthe DianaR.Garland Schoolof Social Workandwilldemonstratea substantial scholarship program in gerontology and a commitment to the educational preparation of social workers.

Qualifications

Required:

• an earned research doctorate,
• an enthusiasm for the mission of the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work,
• a strong record of effective teaching,
• a strong record of service/student engagement, and
• a demonstrated ability to pursue a rigorous research agenda with commensurate publications and external funding with an emphasis on the care of older adults.

An MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and a minimum of two years post-masters professional experience is preferred.
