Role Overview

At W.T. Nickell Label Company, we are on the lookout for an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to enhance our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires an individual capable of efficiently operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses. Your role will be pivotal in delivering top-notch printing quality and collaborating closely with our pre-press specialists. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, be detail-oriented, and possess substantial knowledge of flexographic printing techniques.

Primary Duties

Operate and maintain flexographic printing equipment

• Ensure print quality is up to standards and make any necessary adjustments to maintain consistency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or printing issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Work collaboratively with the pre-press team to ensure an efficient setup and production process.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety protocols in and around the printing area.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in flexographic printing (required)
• Strong mechanical skills paired with effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Expertise in machine operation and conducting quality control checks.
• Understanding of pre-press processes and coordination.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing exceptional output.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is necessary.
