Position Title: Accountant I Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Accountant I Job Duties: This position will be split supporting General Education Administration and Finance and Administrative Affairs, responsible for monitoring financial activities and reconciling the monthly financials for these units. Some of the units in these divisions include Marketing Communications & University Relations, Office of the Chancellor, Secretary of the University, University Advancement, Office of the Vice Chancellor, Business and Financial Services, Human Resources and Facility Services. In addition, this role will be responsible for creating and distributing financial reports for some of these units. This position requires attention to detail, a thorough understanding of fund accounting, and knowledge of Universities of Wisconsin and UWM financial rules. Job responsibilities include:
