Lifeguards and Swim Instructors

Clark Sports Center Lifeguards & Swim Instructors We are currently looking for Part Time Lifeguards & Swim Instructors to join our team! Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.We are willing to train, but candidates should have strong swimming skills.Preferred certifications: Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/CPR/AED and First Aid certificate. If you are interested but do not have current certifications, we will provide a course.Swim Instructors: WSI (Water Safety Instructor) is preferred, as well as experience in teaching swimming lessons.Shifts could include openings, nights and weekends. Part Time employees get a free (single) membership to the Clark Sports Centeras well as paid sick leave.Rate of pay $17.00 per hour.We are seeking responsible and enthusiastic Lifeguards & Swim Instructors to ensure the safety of swimmers and provide high-quality swim instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring aquatic activities, enforcing pool rules, preventing accidents, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Swim Instructors develop and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate swim lessons that promote water safety, build swimming skills, and instill confidence in participants. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, attentiveness, and a commitment to safety and service. The ability to work effectively with children, families, and diverse community members is essential. Applicants must hold current lifeguard, CPR, and first aid certifications; Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is preferred for swim instructors. Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
