A.W. Beattie Career Center is seeking qualified individuals to fill the above positions. Letter of application, resume, and the standard Pennsylvania School Application located on the Career Center website along with a copy of all related certifications are required to be submitted. Application packets will be accepted until this position is filled. These positions require flexible thinkers who can work collaboratively, engaging high school students in their college and career pathway. These are flexible, part-time positions with coordinating benefits during the school year of August through May.

Position Requirements:

-Provide specific instructional support to the instructor to assist groups of students in various aspects of the curriculum. Applying specific experience and training to support student learning within the field.

-Work under the day-to-day direction of the program instructors to collaborate and enhance program specific lessons, including enforcing safe behaviors, body mechanics, industry terminology, and related math and communication skills. Provide instructional support and tutoring to students in large groups, small groups, and one-on-one situations.

-The selected individuals must have the ability to lift twenty pounds (20 lbs.) safely and work standing on their feet for extended periods of time.

The selected candidates will need to meet all required local, state, and federal employment requirements prior to employment. All positions remain open until they are filled.
