Public Works Maintenance

Full-Time             

Primary Purpose of the Position:

• Operate all equipment in support of Streets/Buildings/Grounds Superintendents/Departments.
• Perform general labor in support of Streets/Buildings/Grounds Superintendents/Departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment operation in support of all departments.
• General labor in support of all departments.
• Landscaping – Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Tree Trimming.
• Street maintenance and repair.
• Sidewalk maintenance and repair.
• Street light maintenance and repair.
• Equipment/vehicle/tool maintenance and repair.
• Street sign maintenance and repair.
• Storm sewer maintenance and repair.
• Support Water, Sewer and Lagoon maintenance and repair.
• Put up and take down Flags and decorations. Maintain them.
• Snow removal.
• Other duties as assigned by Village President or Village Board.

Requirements:

• CDL License
• Class B Driver’s License with air breaks
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
