DRINKING WATER OPERATOR

The Village of Minooka has an excellent opportunity for a Drinking Water Operator in the Public Works Department. 

Depending on qualifications this position will be covered under the Minooka Public Works Union Local 150 at a $36.73 - $47.02 per hour wage range.

The following duties represent a general range of assignments to the position but are not intended to define the limits of required duties. The position must efficiently assist with operations at the water distribution facilities that include a large series of pumps, motors, instrumentation, system controls, and SCADA systems. Also be able to perform daily operations including lab testing and documenting information required to follow compliance to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.

This person shall have good computer knowledge, good verbal and written communications skills. Work cooperatively and maintain effective working relationships to accomplish job requirements.

Shall have a minimum Class D Illinois Drinking Water Operator License. Must be able to obtain a class "B" CDL Illinois Motor Vehicle Operator License within 6 months.
