Position summary: Primarily responsible for accurately locating known or planned data points using GPS equipment, for collecting, processing, and updating drillhole and GIS data, and conducting as-built surveys of drilling and construction activities. May also assist in the collection of downhole geophysical, lithologic or camera data from open-hole or cased wells. Works regularly both independently and as part of several multi-disciplinary teams and includes equipment maintenance and accurate data collection and record keeping. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
