MAINTENANCE PERSON

Scituate Housing Authority seeks a Part-Time Maintenance Person. Required skills include: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and masonry. Preference given to proficiency in two or more skills. Also required is patience with persons of differing backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and disabilities. Must be available for after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating basis and snow removal as necessary. Must interact positively with residents and staff. Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Pay range is $30 - $35 per hour.

General knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance and general repairs; experience in operating hand and power tools and motorized equipment and vehicles; ability to lift/move heavy objects, understand and record written information.
