Morris Central School has the following opening.Regular-Run Bus Driver: (A.M. & P.M. runs)We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Regular Run Bus Driver to provide transportation for students during morning and afternoon routes. The driver is responsible for the safe operation of a school bus, maintaining scheduled pick-up and drop-off times, and ensuring the well-being of all passengers. Duties include conducting daily pre- and post-trip inspections, following designated routes, assisting students as needed, and maintaining order and discipline on the bus. The driver must adhere to all traffic laws, district policies, and state regulations. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student safety are essential. This position requires a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass all background checks and drug screenings. The role typically includes split shifts (AM and PM), with potential opportunities for field trips or extracurricular transportation outside of regular hours.Morris Central School is an equal opportunity employer. | |
