Morris Central School has the following opening.Full-time Bus Driver: 8 hours/day,10 - month positionWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Full-Time School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. This position involves operating a school bus on a daily schedule to safely transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and field trips. Responsibilities include performing daily pre-trip inspections, maintaining a clean and orderly bus, managing student behavior, and ensuring compliance with all state and district transportation policies. The driver must follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality and a positive, professional demeanor. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with students, parents, and school staff are essential. Candidates must hold a valid CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements, have a clean driving record, and pass required background checks and drug screenings. This full-time position typically includes morning and afternoon runs, with additional hours available for midday routes, athletic trips, and special events.
