Who We Are: The Danvers Historical Society is dedicated to promoting the rich history of the original Salem Village and the Town of Danvers through preservation and the creation of engaging educational programs. The Historical Society owns and operates Glen Magna Farms, which includes the magnificent Peabody/Endicott Mansion, the National Historic Landmark 1794 Derby Summer House designed by Samuel Mc Intire and award-winning gardens. In 1926, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society awarded Ellen Peabody Endicott with the Hunnewell Gold Medal for the beautiful gardens of Glen Magna Farms. When you walk the 11 acres, the past still resonates with every fragrant blossom and with each step through the winding garden paths. Today at Glen Magna Farms, our team is working to restore the gardens to the 1920s landscape. Join our team in maintaining and restoring this beautiful, historic property! Role: Seasonal Buildings & Grounds Team Member with focus on Gardening & Landscaping Season: April-October/November with potential to expand Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week with potential to grow the role Pay: $20-$24 per hour based on experience Requirements:
