AUTISM SUPPORT INTERVENTIONIST

“We’re Hiring – Autism Support Interventionist”

The person filling this position will provide direct, intense treatment that will focus on helping students learn to respond to their daily environment in a practical and productive manner.

Role of an Autism Support Interventionist:

• Collaborating with teachers and professionals to utilize different intervention techniques in the classroom.
• Documenting and monitoring student behavior goals.
• Creating a safe and nurturing environment for students.
• Work with other members of the IEP team regarding student behavior and intervention strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Behavior, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or related field preferred but would consider Associates Degree with minimum 1 year, preferably 3 years, of experience in fields noted.
