Lynn Cancer Institute in Boca Raton, Florida, a part of the Baptist Health Cancer Center along with Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a full-time, General Thoracic Surgeon to join our Medical Group. The position entails caring for a broad scope of general Thoracic patients both benign and malignant disease of the chest cavity as well as a large volume of benign and malignant upper GI and Esophageal patients. The candidate for this position must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, fellowship trained and be able to meet medical licensure requirements in the State of Florida. Robotic experience is preferred, but not required.

Lynn Cancer Institute Baptist Health Cancer Care offers a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer diagnosis and treatment. We have an established comprehensive multidisciplinary approach with a free-standing cancer center across the campus with Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Presently under construction is a Pencil Beam Single Gantry Proton Center, as well as a hospital undergoing massive expansion with inpatient total of 20 ORs including 4 robots, and an on campus brand-new state of the art outpatient surgery center with 5 ORs.

Our cancer services include opportunities for clinical research, multidisciplinary clinics and conferences, subspecialty medical oncology with a team of 18 medical oncologists and 6 radiation oncologists. Our radiation capabilities include cyberknife, tomotherapy, MRI linac and True beam.

We are integrated with Miami Cancer Institute offering opportunities for research, education and collaboration.
