Budget Analyst $94,072.35 - $103,376.21 Annually
- The principal function of an employee in this class is to administer and perform the budget and fiscal management functions for the City.
- The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Finance Director, but extensive leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
- The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Finance Director, the Public Works Director, other City employees, and the general public.
- The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.
Development Review Coordinator $74,796.80 - $79,393.60 Annually
- The principal function of an employee in this class is to provide customer service and act as a project liaison as it relates to development review and the building permitting process.
- The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with other City employees, Federal and State agencies, applicants, property owners, design professionals, and the general public.
- The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.
- The work is performed under the supervision and direction of Development Review Manager, but considerable leeway is granted and expected for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
Facilities Worker $64,667.20 Annually
- The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform a broad range of generalized and specialized functions to support the maintenance and repair of City facilities, lands, and infrastructure.
- The work is performed under the general supervision and direction of the Assistant Facilities Superintendent, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
- The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned supervisors, other City employees, and the general public.
- The principal duties of this class are performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, with possible exposure to a variety of terrains, weather conditions, hazardous materials, and airborne pathogens.
Fleet Manager $109,095.09 - $119,884.71 Annually
- The principal function of an employee in this class is to manage the City’s vehicle and equipment fleet and plans, directs, and monitors the activities and operations of the Vehicle Maintenance division.
- The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Transportation & Engineering Director, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
- Supervision is exercised over employees in division.
- The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the supervisor, other City employees, City Officials, State Officials, business representatives, vendors, and the general public.
- The principal duties of this class are performed in an indoor shop environment.
Library Aid $45,448.00 - $49,649.60 Annually
- The principal function of an employee in this class is to check in library materials, provide customer service to library patrons, and accurately shelve library materials.
- The work is performed under the supervision and direction of an assigned supervisor, but some leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
- The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the assigned supervisor, other employees, volunteers, and the general public.
- The principal duties of this class are performed in a general library environment.
Lifeguards $21.00 Hourly
- Install, maintain, repair, and replace sewer mains, water mains, hydrant distribution systems, manholes, storm sewer lines, and lift stations and pump stations to support the City of Bozeman’s water and sewer operations.
Police Officer $73,583.52 - $94,265.28 Annually
- The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform a variety of law enforcement duties in the enforcement of all Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances to ensure the preservation of public peace, prevention of crimes, and the protection of life and property.
- The work is performed under the supervision and direction of a Command Officer, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
- The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Police Chief, other Command Officers and City personnel, elected and appointed officials, representatives of Federal, State, County and municipal agencies, media representatives and the general public.
- The principal duties of this class are performed in a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations which may involve exposure to potential personal danger.
- An employee in this class begins as a Probationary Police Officer and advances to Confirmed Police Officer upon satisfactory completion of the Probationary period and approval of the Chief of Police.
