Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative (Personal Lines Insurance CSR)

We are a family-owned and operated independent insurance agency situated in Glen Rock, NJ, proudly serving our community for over four decades. Our agency specializes in providing comprehensive insurance solutions to meet the varied needs of customers throughout Northern New Jersey. We work with a diverse range of reputable carriers, including Travelers, Selective, Franklin Mutual, Hanover, Progressive, Plymouth Rock, and Utica Mutual, ensuring that our clients receive the best coverage options available in the market.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of Personal Lines customer service associated with existing agency accounts. This includes managing account rounding, handling new business inquiries, processing renewals, managing endorsements, and assisting with claims. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 8: 30 AM to 4: 30 PM, and we are looking for a dedicated individual who can contribute to our reputation for excellent customer service.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is required to hold a currently valid New Jersey Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License, prior experience in the insurance industry preferred. Familiarity with the Applied/Epic management system is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes Group Medical insurance, Group Term Life insurance, and a Profit-sharing Plan to support your financial well-being.
