STEAM Teacher Vacancy - Tenure-Track Position

Morristown Central School District, located in Northern New York, with only the St. Lawrence River separating it from Canada, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated STEAM Teacher to join our team and help our students explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics!

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach STEAM subjects, incorporating science, math, technology, engineering, and arts to engage students in creative, critical thinking.
• Design and implement electives and projects that reflect your personal passion and expertise.
• Deliver instruction in Earth Science and its component Lab.
• Foster a learning environment that emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and exploration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Math, Technology, or related field.
• Valid teaching certification or actively seeking certification in Science, Math, Technology, or a related field.
• Strong background or interest in one or more areas of STEAM education.
• Experience or willingness to integrate technology and innovation into the classroom.
• Ability to develop engaging, hands-on curriculum and projects
