Teacher - Early Intervention

At Colonial IU 20, our Early Intervention Teachers play a crucial role in supporting the developmental
and educational needs of our youngest learners. If you're passionate about early childhood
education and making an impact during the most formative years of life, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
Provide specially designed instruction to preschool-aged children with developmental delays
or disabilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams to support growth in communication,
cognition, motor skills, social-emotional development, and behavior
Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
Maintain documentation using CIU 20’s digital tools
What We’re Looking For:
Valid PA Special Education certification
Experience working with young children is highly beneficial
Must have the ability to be trained in and utilize TACT-2 behavior assessment methods and
apply restraint when necessary
Experience working with children with autism is a plus
Basic computer proficiency to navigate CIU 20’s computer-based and web-based platforms
