Full Stack Developer (Java)

Develop and maintain distributed Applications. Develop quality code and automated tests. Work with data structures, design patterns. Participate in agile software development life cycle from story grooming through detailed design, coding, functional testing. Provide support in conguring and troubleshooting applications and providing implementation best practices to development. Manage and Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud bees and Spinnaker. Deploy applications to production, Monitor deployed applications, scale applications based on demand. Utilize implementation knowledge of modern technologies and integration architecture disciplines including hybrid cloud, APIs, streaming technologies, event-driven systems, self-service data platforms, and analytics to meet business needs. Utilize Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Spring batch, Kafka, document database, Cloud bees or other CI tools, Spinnaker or other CD tools, Jenkins, Sonar Qube analysis, Check Marx, XRAY, and Swagger. Utilize SOAP/REST APIs using Java. Utilize AWS API Gateway, ALB, NLB, Fargate, airflow, EC2, S3, Apache Freemarker, Apache Camel, Mulesoft, Spring Drools, O Auth 2.0 compliant products, Test Driven Development and BDD using Karate, Redis, Integration testing. Build and maintain optimized docker images and manage image lifecycle. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 3 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union LLC at 11902 Burnet Road, Suite 350, Austin, TX 78758. Salary: $108,826 to $129,375 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving software application development.

Must also have experience in the following: 2 years of professional experience utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Jenkins, and Microservices; 2 years of professional experience performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration; 2 years of professional experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Cloudbees and Spinnaker; 2 years of professional experience building and optimizing docker containers; and 2 years of professional experience designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that meet quality standards and project deadlines.
