Public Notice Advisor - Local Sales

The Public Notice Coordinator role requires a highly personable individual with strong communication and customer service skills to guide callers in placing obituary and legal notices in print and online products. The role involves working in a multi-deadline environment and learning and applying new techniques accurately and quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Entering ads into the Ad Booker, G3, and Wave2 programs.
• Performing reporting duties, including crystal reports for manifest and affidavits.
• Ad trafficking.
• Administrative duties such as answering phones and checking messages.
• Ad placement in both print and digital formats.
• Analyzing data using Microsoft Office programs.
• Special promotions project work, collaborating with multiple departments.
• Communicating with sales reps and customers.
• Reviewing and responding to multiple email inboxes.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail, including excellent spelling and grammar in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Typing speed of at least 50 wpm for data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Highly effective communication skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with efficient telephone etiquette.
