WHAT YOU WOULD DO
: Oversee the operation and performance of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. Ensuring electric and water AMI data is accurate, timely, and accessible to internal stakeholders. Lead the day-to-day oversight of data workflows involving the Head End System (HES) and the Meter Data Management System (MDMS). Responsible for the accuracy, quality, and availability of AMI data by monitoring performance and coordinating corrective actions for the HES, network devices, schedule meter reads and MDMS. Monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolution of issues impacting AMI data integrity, including network communication, data transmission, and system performance. Manage the configuration of AMI electric and water meters, oversee endpoint communication health, and data collection in collaboration with technical teams. Analyze AMI performance data, generate reports, and recommend data-driven process improvements. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure AMI data can be effectively used for strategic planning, customer engagement, and operational insights. Support storm response with AMI data and storm restoration efforts and resource planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Utility Management, Engineering, Public Administration; or the equivalent combination of related education, utility experience, and current or prior experience leading teams or supervising staff. Experience in utility operations and familiarity with AMI technology, Radio Frequency communication networks, data analytics, and utility billing, outage, & SCADA systems. Understanding of electricity and water distribution systems and related metering technologies. Strong technical knowledge, leadership, communications, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are critical.

SALARY
: Clark Public Utilities' salary ranges are market based and established annually. With full competency in the role and satisfactory performance the target is midpoint within the established range.
