Only candidates with an active U.S. Health Insurance Producer License and direct Medicare and ACA brokerage experience will be considered.

Are you a licensed health insurance broker with deep knowledge of Medicare, ACA, and small group health plans? Do you thrive in a consultative, client-facing role where your expertise makes a real difference? Emry, an affiliate of Goodroot, is hiring a Health Insurance Concierge Advocate to deliver white-glove service to executive and high-net-worth clients, not chase commissions.

This is a service-first position, not a producer or sales role. You’ll be guiding clients through complex health plan choices, resolving claims and billing issues, and serving as a trusted advisor across private, ACA, and Medicare markets.

Minimum Qualifications (Knockout Criteria)

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

• Active Health Insurance Producer License (in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure preferred)

• Demonstrated experience evaluating and recommending ACA health plans

• Experience handling small group plans (under 50 employees)

• Hands-on expertise with Medicare plan selection

• Proven track record in health insurance brokerage and client advocacy

• Deep understanding of the private insurance market, with a clear commitment to staying informed through continuing education, compliance updates, or industry publications

What You’ll Do

• Act as a licensed health insurance advocate providing personalized plan selection support for ACA, Medicare, and private market clients

• Manage all aspects of claims, billing errors, pre-authorizations, appeals, and Rx coverage issues

• Support executive-level clients with white-glove service and exceptional responsiveness

• Track case notes and communication history via CRM and case management platforms

• Stay ahead of regulatory updates and health plan changes across states and carriers

What You Bring

• 5+ years in insurance account management, client advocacy, or healthcare navigation

• Strong grasp of claims resolution, EOB interpretation, and medical billing processes

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and documentation skills

• Comfort working with high-net-worth individuals and complex family plans

• Tech-savvy with tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and CRM platforms

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Preferred But Not Required

• Certification in medical billing or coding

• Experience working with C-suite or executive clientele

• Proximity to Wyckoff, NJ (within commuting distance)
