The City of Columbiana, Ohio (pop. 6,559) is a small city with a rich historical background. The City of Columbiana is searching for a self-motivated, flexible, high-energy individual with superior interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer service skills to join our team.

Position Overview

The Street Superintendent manages and oversees the city streets department and roadway projects. Directs, manages and oversees the work of department employees; and maintains records, reports, and supplies.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of (5) years progressive experience in operations of streets and have a knowledge of modern principles of administration and management of a department with a record of success in supervising the work of others or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The Street Superintendent is required to work a 40-hour work week and shall be available for emergencies. Applicant will work outdoors and may be exposed to adverse weather conditions.

Applicants must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license with a CDL, and an acceptable driving record.
