WSU Everett is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill both the day shift and night shift Campus Safety Officer vacancies. As the Campus Safety Officer at WSU Everett, you will serve as the primary safety and security contact for the campus when commissioned officers are unavailable. You will perform general duty security work to protect life and property, enforce laws and ordinances, maintain order, and prevent and investigate crime. You will also adhere to and enforce campus regulations and local, state, and federal laws and statutes. This position requires you to monitor crime reports and maintain a log of criminal activity on and near campus facilities. Additionally, you will perform operational checks of safety equipment and a variety of other general building maintenance duties on the WSU Everett campus. Additional Information: Both vacancies are full time (100% FTE), permanent positions. The positions are overtime-eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,999 to $5,370 | Range 46 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
