Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time dean's associate to provide office support for the dean of STEM, the applied technology department head and faculty members, coordinate the workflow between the STEM department heads and the dean, and prepare faculty contracts for STEM programs.

Essential Duties
-
The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.
- Provides office support for the dean of STEM, including typing; filing correspondence; photocopying; meeting minutes; scheduling appointments and meetings; entering purchase requisitions; answering and making phone calls on behalf of the dean; ordering office supplies; reconciling and monitoring the STEM division and grant budgets; monitoring departmental faculty load reports for accuracy; and serving as liaison for the dean of STEM, department heads and department administrative associates
- Provides office support for the STEM department heads and faculty assigned to off-campus courses and programs, including typing; filing correspondence; photocopying; providing course materials for faculty; assisting with online assessment data entry; preparing textbook orders for bookstore; ordering textbooks from publishers; entering purchase requisitions in the system; answering and making phone calls on behalf of the department heads; ordering supplies for the department; reconciling and monitoring department budgets
- Enters STEM departments’ credit class schedules in Colleague and maintains scheduling data to ensure the most recent course information is entered, including faculty assignment, course status, instructional methods, course revisions, course fees, course prerequisites and co-requisites, registration dates, etc.
- Enters curriculum course and program proposals in Curriculog for the STEM division and reviews and monitors the following for content accuracy: college catalog revisions, college website and college publications
- Coordinates and monitors the workflow between the department heads/directors and the dean on assigned tasks and tasks associated with college scheduled tasks
- Compiles data and assists with the preparation of reports and studies, including new program proposals, divisional program reviews, outcome reports and grants
- Provides backup support for all administrative associates within the STEM division, trains new associates and assists new faculty
- Assists in generating part-time STEM faculty employment agreements
- Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in a relevant field
- Four years of office support experience (a bachelor's degree can be substituted for the four years of experience)
- Computer, mathematical, organizational, human relations, oral and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Creole

Supplemental Information

This is a full-time support staff position with excellent fringe benefits. The starting hourly rate for this position will likely range from $25.33 to $31.10 per hour depending on qualifications and experience with extremely well qualified individuals toward the upper end of this range. Days and Hours of work are Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4: 30 p.m. (1 hour lunch)
